Why clipping the live tile beats scrubbing VODs
The highlight is already gone by the time you find the timestamp. Here’s how clippers keep up with chat.
Most clip nights still end the same way: a pile of Twitch tabs, a Kick window somewhere behind Discord, and a VOD you’ll “edit later.” Later rarely comes. By then chat has moved on and the moment feels cold.
Clipping from the live tile flips that. When the room pops, you hit Clip and choose how long the cut should run. The file is waiting in the dock while you stay on Multiview.
That sounds small until you measure it. A typical late-join clipper loses the first reaction while alt-tabbing. Keeping capture on the stream tile means the punchline ships while it’s still the joke everyone’s posting.
If you’re building a clip floor, treat “time from bang to file” as the metric that matters — not how fancy the editor looks after the fact.
